Add some color to your balcony at The Reserve at Regency Park!

Having a nice looking balcony is an essential for me in my apartment in Centreville, VA, but finding out which plants I should have was a challenge. I like to have a garden, but that is not possible on a balcony, so instead I had to focus on potted shrubs, flowers, and herbs.

Shrubs and herbs that grow in containers work extremely well, and they require a bit less work than some flowers, vegetables, and especially fruits. They also seem to thrive in the more creative containers that I have put them in, including an old sock that I dipped in fixative in order to get it to stand up on its own.

I really enjoy the flowers that I put in hanging baskets and pots at the end of the balcony. I water those and the water that drips through falls into my other plants and shrubs under them. There is also something aesthetically pleasing about flowers that hang right at or above eye level.

I love being able to pick out the balcony of my apartment in Centreville, VA from miles away because of my unique plants.
