Have a day of fun with the family at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum!

Living in The Reserve at Regency Park and looking for things to do near Centreville, VA?  There are several great places to visit within an hour of your home.

The Smithsonian Udvar-Hazy National air & Space Museum is just off route 28.  Built on Dulles Airport land, the largest Smithsonian exhibits can be housed and shown.  See the Enola Gay, the shuttle Discovery, a Blackbird spy plane, a full Concorde and hundreds of other exhibits.

The Sully Historic Site, also just off route 28, is the home of Richard Bland Lee, Robert E. Lee’s uncle and the first representative to the Congress from Northern Virginia.  See how it was to live 220 years ago.

Visit the Manassas Museum in the old town of Manassas.  Here you can look back into the historic town of Manassas and the events that helped shape this part of Virginia.

An outdoor trip to the Manassas National Battlefield hosts two battlefields where the Confederacy won significant encounters.  The first battle in June, 1861 immediately changed the public’s attitude from one of a grand adventure to a hard fought and deadly conflict.  Stand at the site where “Stonewall” Jackson got his name.
