Getting to Nationals games just got easier for Centrevillians

Goodbye, game day hassle and traffic, hello Ballpark Bus! If you’re tired of making the trip to DC for a Nationals game, the rush hour commute ends here!

The new Ballpark Bus makes it easier for suburban residents to get to games without wasting gas.  They have a new website (linked above) that allows sports fans to choose an upcoming game, a restaurant departure point and it gives you the chance to reserve a spot online.

The point of this service is both to provide you with an added convenience (making fans able to attend more games), but it also allows fans to socialize and for groups to meet up so they can go to the game together.  Since buses pick up and drop off at restaurants, you don’t have to worry about finding a place for a meal or drink before or after games.  You’re already there! All this AND you get dropped off closer to the stadium than if you drove or took the Metro!

Rides on the Ballpark Bus cost $18 and buses currently stop at Velocity Five in Centreville (under 3 miles from Reserve at Regency Park) as well as these other locations just in case you’re coming from outside Centreville:

  • The Green Turtle at Dulles Town Center and North Glebe (Ballston) locations
  • Glory Days in Reston/Herndon
  • Clyde’s Willow Creek Farm in Ashburn

For you Reserve at Regency Park residents, would you consider using this service?
